Mariah's World: New Preview Teases Even More Mimi Madness

If this preview for Mariah’s World on E! is any indication, then we are in for a ton of fun.

The new clip shows Mariah Carey laying sideways on her divan, wearing nothing more than a bustier, stockings and high heels.

“Is this a normal outfit for people to wear?” Carey asked the camera as “Fantasy” plays.

“I don’t know. But I’m at home, and this is what I wear!”

The 30-second clip gives a brief glimpse at the eight-part series, which premieres December 4th.

I don’t know what other people think about me, and they don’t know my story,” Carey said in the preview.

“They don’t know my life. …”

“There is no typical day in Mimi’s life.”

The first preview was teased during the Television Critics Association summer press tour in early August.

There, Carey confirmed that her fiance, James Packer will be in portions of the show.

“He’s a businessman, and that’s, like, his world, and I don’t try to permeate that situation,” Carey explained.

“So I think he’s been very cool in allowing some moments.”

Carey is mom to five-year-old twins Monroe and Morrocan with estranged husband, Nick Cannon.

“I don’t consider it reality,” Carey insisted at the event.

“It feels like a documentary.

I don’t even watch reality [TV].  I don’t even know what reality is.”

The series promises to showcase Carey’s plans for her wedding to Packer, as well as the European leg of her tour.

It will give fans “exclusive access to her life behind the mic, including her family, friends and inner circle.”

Why did Carey want to create something that so closely resembles a reality show?

Easy.  She wanted “to make it something that can be a lasting piece of work for my fans. And for my kids.”

If this were 15 years ago, Mariah’s World would have been an MTV or VH1 special, not unlike Driven or The Diary Of…

It looks to be fun, campy and (hopefully) a break from the crap being served up these days.
