Vice president Yemi Osinbajo has come under heavy fire for saying that Nigerians will witness the true change the President Muhammadu Buhari administration promised in 2018.
Nigerians lambasted Osinbajo describing his submission as deceitful because 2018 is the year before the next general elections.
Some of those who commented about Osinbajo’s words on popular social media platform, Facebook on Monday, September 12 expressed concern that the government might be trying to trick Nigerians.
Others complained that 2018 is too long a time to be the current economic hardship that was confirmed as a full recession just some days ago.
The reaction of other users on social media platform, Twitter is not much different. They also described the statement by Osinbajo as worrying but some hoped that it is true or else the APC would be voted out of power in 2019.
