For the first of this season, Chelsea‘s Antonio Conte, Manchester City‘s Pep Guardiola, Hull City‘s Mike Phelan and Manchester United‘s Jose Mourinho have all been shortlisted for August.

The first Player of the Month award for this season will be contested between Hull’s Curtis Davies, Chelsea’s Eden Hazard, City’s Raheem Sterling and United’s Antonio Valencia.

It should also be noted that this new voting method could favour players and coaches of the bigger clubs as they have more online fans.
