Asisat Oshoala scored for Arsenal Ladies in their 2-0 win over Nott County in a Women’s Super League action clash.
Nigeria international Asisat Oshoala was on the scoresheet as Arsenal Ladies beat Notts County on Sunday, August 29 in the Women’s Super League action.
Oshoala opened goal in the first half rounding up County goalkeeper, Megan Walsh to slot in the opener before an own goal doubled the lead for the Gunners.
The Super Falcons star was lively in the opening minutes, taking down a cross from Dan Carter before firing wide.
Oshoala went close again just seconds before the whistle, charging past Notts County skipper Laura Bassett her shot was saved by Walsh.
It was just immediately after the break that Oshoala gave Arsenal Ladies lead.
After a well-timed run, Oshoala rounded up County’s goalkeeper to slot into an empty net in the 47th minute.
Arsenal Ladies were reduced to 10 but held on before scoring the second.
