The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, a school of Medical Sciences in Ghana, recently witnessed a historic moment since its inception with a record set by a Nigerian student in the school.
Fathia Ayodele Kareem took everybody by surprise when she won 12 out of 15 awards presented to graduating students who distinguished themselves during their period of study.
Kareem who is 25 years old is said to be an alumnus of the Wesley Girls High School.
It was a happy and proud moment for her family and friends when she took several turns to receive the awards.
When she was asked if she expected to get the number of awards, she said: “Yes and No. Yes because I worked hard by studying and no because I did not expect to receive these number of awards.”
