This is the seventh week of the Naijaloaded Music Review.
Music is life and it’s always non-stop music on the Naijaloaded Music Category.
Again, we have made some selections from all the songs that was posted this just concluded week the top songs that qualified for review, dated from August 7th to August 13th.
IDGAF by Vector : It was supposed to be VEC’s birthday when he dropped this fire jam but he sounds pissed in a kinda good way on the record. Danceable track with several fire lines, this is easily a hit material, the problem is just its eligibility to get played on the radio or how well will it be played on some other media platforms because of the several repetition of the ‘F’ word. Nevertheless, this is going to be a sing along hit for the street, the production is great too.
Ajaga by Skales ft Davido & Timaya: Heavyweights on this one. Firstly, the beat is banging and then Davido and Timaya went on to kill it alongside the host, Skales. This groovy joint should start causing trouble in no time and should be given a dope video on time. Even Skales is not playing this year.
Religion by Ruggedman ft 9ice : This collaboration would trigger a lot of memories, the good, the bad and the ugly. Nevertheless, they still managed to give us a very decent feel good music just like the last time they worked together, a very big thanks to Krizbeats this time. Respect to Ruggedman but it’s starting to look like he’s over using his bragging rights, if he could say that much at the end of this record about giving the music industry a face, what would be left for the likes of the humble 2 face idibia to brag about if baba ever decides to?
Na U (Remix) by Humblesmith ft Harrysong : This will easily pass as a wedding anthem, they both delivered their best on this sweet love song. Just out of curiosity and serious observation, we’ll like to see Humblesmith make a hit record without the help of any A list artist on the record.
Kiss & Tell by Charass ft Cynthia Morgan (Remix) : Melodious music by Charass, he wows on this record with his smooth voice. Good music without any doubt.
For The Love Of The Money by Emma Nyra ft Fiokee : This is easily the best song on Emma Nyra’s newly released EP. She was able to melodiously showcase her vocal skills on this song. As for Fiokee, he’s changing the game for guitarists, he’s behind so many hit singles already. Good music.
Kogi United by YQ : You’ll easily feel goose bumps listening to this song if you’re from Kogi State but it’s still a feel good music for everyone at the same time. YQ needs to make more pleasing to the hear music like this in the future.
African Lady by Sound Sultan ft Phyno & Flavour : Good music from the senior men, even though a little bit more was expected than this judging from the line up, it still qualifies as good music.
Nene by Shyboss : The instrumentation is a simple and nice one, best for a vocal power house but Shyboss tried his best to make a good connection with it.
FunWan Tan by Kaysplash : This is a very impressive effort, from the production to the artist’s sound, a party starter.
I Beg You by K-Beats ft Teebawse : Well crafted laid back music at it’s best. Full of plenty potentials.
Omo Ake by Jaido P ft Chinko Ekun : They both went in, using their playful and witty bars to complement and talk about a lady.
Centre Of My Joy (Ololufe) by Laidecharis : This is alternative music at it’s best. Beautiful melody, meaningful lyrics and well arranged instrumentation.
O’baby Pancake by Gaskillz : Just like his name, he’s got skills and he definitely showed that on the song with some creative lyrics.
See Me by IkoBoy ft Sarkodie : Nice groovy tune from the artist with a well laced rap verse by Sarkodie.
