– Niger Delta Avengers dares Nigerian army in a fresh statement
– The militants claimed that they are not intimidated and accused the military of playing war games
– They further stated that restructuring of Nigeria has gone beyond the NDA
The Niger Delta Avengers (NDA) have challenged the Nigerian army to show the public the photos of the killed militants.
The group in a statement made available for NAIJ.com said that military can’t intimidate the militants.
Brig.Gen Mudoch Agbinibo, the spokesperson of the NDA, announced the launch of the new Twitter account @agbiniboND, saying that Twitter can’t stop or block their struggle.
The statement reads:-
“The Nigeria military is playing some war game on some illegal bunkering camps and showing video of how they carry out the bombardment. That is so unprofessional don’t think they can intimidate the NDA with those scarp jet bombers. They can deploy fourth generation jet-bombers that will not stop us from fighting for our people.
“We challenge the military to share with the public the militants killed in the so-called air strike. We are very sure they won’t share the images of militants killed because none was killed except innocent women and children.
“What we are saying is the country should be restructured. The call for restructuring of Nigeria has gone beyond the NDA. The only group of persons against the restructuring is the Villa. The federal government should just listen to the voice of the citizens instead of playing the deaf ear game.
“We officially say that @agbiniboND is our new official twitter account handle. Twitter can block or suspend our account but they can’t stop or block our struggle.”
The Nigerian air force has conducted a five-day air operation on the camps of the suspected militants in Arepo area, Ogun state.
According to military reports, more than 100 militants were killed while many others arrested and surrendered.
On August 3, the army claimed that they forced vandals of the oil industry to leave the area, adding that the troops are tracking them.
Following the aerial operation the soldiers prepare crackdown on the militants on the ground.
